The 2G spectrum scam is not just grabbing headlines in India, it is being followed internationally too. When the CBI and Enforcement Directorate teams recently visited Mauritius they were surprised at the level of awareness; officials there had the details of the scandal on their fingertips and even knew the names of the dramatis personae. Actually, this was no surprise: Mauritian investigative bodies are closely watching the Indian investigation of the case for tips to deal with similar scams in their own country!
