Errors in pronunciation and spelling haunted the Indian delegation throughout the Africa tour of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. In Tanzania, during the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Apollo Hospitals and the Tanzanian Health Minister for the creation of a super-speciality hospital, the moderator kept on announcing they were signing an MoU with “Apollo Hotels”. Finally, Prathap C Reddy, chairman of the health care group, had to politely remind him that he represented a hospital group, not a hotel chain.
