Spirited move

At the first conference of start-up entrepreneurs addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Secretary Amitabh Kant moderated a question-and-answer session with secretaries. On being asked about the wine industry, he urged Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das to reply. "This question should be answered by the one who enjoys wine the best," Kant said, gesturing to Das. The economic affairs secretary started his answer saying, "Amitabh, you are not expected to let out secrets", leaving the audience in splits.
