Spiritual succour

Union Law Minister Veerappa Moily’s recent marathon meeting with spiritual leader Morari Bapu at the latter’s ashram in Gujarat didn’t go unnoticed in Congress circles. With the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance increasingly mired in scams, Moily’s friends in the party found the timing of the meeting appropriate. Some leaders even called to tell him he needed additional power and spiritual strength to combat these crises because mere knowledge of the law would not be sufficient.
