Spoilsport PM

More evidence is trickling out of the Prime Minister’s Office of Manmohan Singh getting tough with his ministerial colleagues. Angered by growing criticism that he does not assert himself, the PM has been unabashed in saying “No” to requests for foreign travel from ministers. Many who had hoped to get away from the country in this holiday season are cooling their heels at work, having been refused permission to go abroad.
