Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was recently dubbed by the state BJP chief Sudhir Mungantiwar as the “test tube baby” of Maharashtra strongman Sharad Pawar and painted him the villain for dividing the traditional Marathi vote. But the same test tube baby stunned everyone by visiting Mungantiwar for a cup of tea at the state BJP office in south Mumbai. This, in turn, seriously irked the BJP’s state alliance partner the Shiv Sena. Now, everyone is waiting to see whether the test tube baby will bring more cheer to the saffron alliance by allying his Hindu Marathi voters to the cause or force a divorce ahead of crucial election to the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation slated for 2012.
