They may be opposed to the Congress-led UPA government, but that didn’t stop CPI(M) leader Basudeb Acharya and CPI’s Gurudas Dasgupta walking up to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at the lunch break of the all-party meeting last Sunday and saying, “Sir, we are also here.” The prime minister, in a rare display of his witty side, said, “Yes. I can see you. And you also know that my heart is in the left side of my chest.” Overhearing this, Trinamool Congress chief whip Sudip Bandopadhyay quickly added, “Sir, there is no problem if you keep them on the left side of your chest. But please keep the Trinamool Congress on the right side.”
