Commerce and Industries Minister Anand Sharma is so rarely on time for any meeting, seminar or conference, that participants at events involving him tend to factor in delays. On Monday, however, Sharma unexpectedly arrived on time for the second India-South Africa CEOs Forum — only to find none of the delegates present, from either India or South Africa. A sharp look at his secretary triggered some major huffing and puffing among officials in his entourage; luckily for them, Ratan Tata, who chairs the CEOs Forum from the Indian side, arrived after a couple of minutes.
