To the letter

When Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee wrote letters seeking the opinion of state governments and political parties on the Lok Pal Bill, he received the “maximum” response from BJP President Nitin Gadkari. Not only did Gadkari send Mukherjee the longest reply, he also sent him the same letter three times. Maybe Gadkari wasn’t taking any chances since he was away in Lucknow for a party meeting. Gadkari’s promptness certainly made Mukherjee happy, but the content of his letters were obviously not that encouraging.
