Goa Chief Minister Digambar Kamat had a busy day recently in New Delhi when he came to attend the Congress Working Committee meeting. He had to brief the party brass about how he was dealing with the price rise issue in his state.
After the meeting, Kamat was asked to wait at the Congress headquarters because party President Sonia Gandhi wanted to talk to him. After waiting for one hour, Kamat was summoned at Gandhi’s residence at 10, Janpath. Later, he had to meet Home Minister P Chidambaram. In both these meetings, he had to face some tough questions on the law and order situation in Goa.
