On the face of it, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s two-day visit to India would not be described as an unqualified success. Fresh from a referendum that invests him with near-absolute power, Mr Erdogan called for multilateral dialogue on Kashmir and promoting dual membership in the Nuclear Suppliers’ Group (NSG) in a pre-visit TV interview.
