Business Standard New Delhi
With Prime Minister Narendra Modi meeting Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan, who was visiting New Delhi for an event, a senior Congress leader quipped in Parliament, "The PM doesn't have time to meet with Opposition leaders here; but it is good that he wants to meet a leader of the Opposition in Pakistan!" Imran Khan's Tehreek-e-Insaf is the main Opposition party in Pakistan. The hostility between the Opposition Congress and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has exacerbated over the past few weeks and this is evident from their raging battle in Parliament's winter session.
