Young and hopeful

At the Congress Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday, when Mausam Noor, the first time MP from Bengal came to greet party boss Sonia Gandhi, she hugged the young MP and asked her her age. “I’m 28 years old” Mausam replied. “Then I think you are the youngest MP of this Parliament,” Gandhi said while reminding her that she has a “lot of responsibilities and will have to work very hard.” A section of the Congress is speculating she might get a minister of state berth in the new government.
