YVR in China

Former Reserve Bank of India governor Y V Reddy has found a bigger fan following after his retirement because of India’s relative insulation from the trans-Atlantic financial crisis and the fact that he stood in the way of policies that may have made India more vulnerable. But his popularity in China seems to be more. His last collection of essays was translated into Chinese and the book has become a bestseller in China.
