Liberty Videocon General Insurance launched two new products for commercial businesses; Commercial General Liability Insurance (CGL), and Directors & Officers Liability Insurance (D&O).
The Commercial General Liability insurance will cover the legal liability of the Insured for bodily injury and / or property damage of a third party which includes liability arising out of the premises, operations or products of the Insured. In addition to this, any associated legal costs and expenses which are incurred during these events, will also be covered through this Insurance cover.
The Directors & Officers Liability insurance covers directors, officers and employees of the Company, in the event of personal liability or defense costs incurred due to alleged claims of breach of duty, neglect, misstatements or errors while performing their duties on behalf of the Company. Liberty Videocon will also pay for the defense costs which are sustained with respect to the claim.
