Can a tenant take insurance for the house he is staying in?
He can. But since he does not own the house, he can take insurance only for the contents of the house, such as electronic items and other valuable items

Who will take the insurance for the house?
The house owner will take the physical cover for the house to protect it from fire or natural calamities. But if the lease agreement has a clause which says the tenant is responsible for the house, then the tenant can take physical cover for the house, too
