Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA from Delhi's Laxmi Nagar constituency Vinod Kumar Binny has once again upset the Arvind Kejriwal's applecart and taken the wind out of his sails. The party, which is in the process of putting together candidates to contest on 400-odd Lok Sabha seats, already appears to be a divided house.
Binny said Arvind Kejriwal is no longer pursuing cases of corruption against Congress leaders because he is friends with Sandeep Dikshit, a Congress MP and son of Sheila Dikshit.

1) Binny, a resident of Vasundhara Enclave, Dallupura, is an MLA from Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar constituency.
2) In the election held in December, he trounced Health and Family Minister A K Walia, who was considered invincible. Binny, the son of a paneer supplier, defeated Walia by about 8,000 votes and is now called the 'Giant Killer'
3) Binny, a former Congressman who contested Assembly elections for the first time from AAP ticket in December 2013, claims to be the first one to come up with the 'mohalla sabha' concept which was elaborately publicised in the AAP manifesto.
4) The MLA, who participated actively in mass protest in New Delhi following the gang-rape of a physiotherapy intern in a moving bus in December 2012, was denied a Cabinet berth in the Arvind Kerjriwal government in Delhi.
5) Binny, who did a BA course from Motilal Nehru College of Delhi University, was a two-time Independent councillor. He was first elected to the Delhi Municipal Corporation in 2007.
