A Delhi court on Thursday granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) legislator Amanatullah Khan, arrested on charges of threatening a woman.
Additional Sessions Judge Raj Kumar Tripathi granted bail to Khan asking him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 50,000 and a surety of like amount.
The court directed him not to threaten and contact the complainant directly or indirectly.
It also directed Khan not to influence witnesses in the case and asked him to join investigation whenever required.
A 35-year-old woman had filed a complaint against Khan on July 20 alleging he threatened her with dire consequences.
A case was registered against the legislator for attempt to commit culpable homicide, criminal intimidation and insulting the modesty of a woman at the Jamia Nagar police station in south Delhi.

A day before police arrested Khan on Sunday, he filed a counter case saying he was not even in Delhi when he is supposed to have threatened the woman.
The AAP released a secretly shot video of the woman in which she is heard saying the Station House Officer told her to level rape charges against Khan.
