AAP to announce list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections in 15 days

Earlier today, Kejriwal refused to accept the two residences alloted to him

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Sanjay Singh on Saturday said the list of candidates for this year's Lok Sabha elections would be released in the next ten to fifteen days.

Commenting about the national executive meeting, Singh said, "This meeting will continue for the next two days. There will be a thorough discussion about the Lok Sabha elections."

On Kejriwal refusing to accept the two residences allotted to him on Bhagwan Dass Road in Central Delhi, he said, "We got calls from several well wishers expressing their opinions about the houses. After this, he (Kejriwal) took a decision and we went along with him on this. Now, we will look for a smaller house."

"I think it is good for democracy that you take good decisions on any issue which is creating controversy. And, Kejriwal is known for being strong in taking action," he added.

Earlier today, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had decided not to take two Type VI duplex apartments allotted to him on Bhagwan Dass Road.

The AAP came under scathing attack from the BJP which claimed that AAP was misleading the common man.

"There is lot of controversy regarding the new house to which I am shifting. I will ask the government for a smaller flat," Kejriwal said before attending a nation executive meeting of his party in Delhi on Saturday amidst indications that the AAP is keen on enhancing its presence nationally.
