Captain Amarinder Singh upped the ante in going after Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal on social media. Under the hashtag #PunjabDaCancer, PPCC chief tweeted comparison between his tenure and that of Badals.
Attacking Badal govt based on facts and not on mere rhetoric, Captain Amarinder Singh took to Twitter to compare the performance of industrial growth rate, per capita income index and agricultural growth rate during their respective tenures.
He tweeted that Punjab ranked fifth in the country for per capita income index during 2005-2006, while during the tenure of Badals - Punjab was ranked 16th in 2015-2016.
In his tweetstorm, Captain Amarinder Singh drew the attention to agriculture sector. The tweet came with an interesting graphic where he projects the 4% agricultural growth during his tenure in a lush green paddy field and highlights the abysmal -0.75% growth rate during Badal's tenure(2015) in a barren land.
