Minister of State for Skill Development and Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Pratap Rudy on Saturday criticised Congress leader Anand Sharma over his remarks against Prime Minister Modi, and suggested that he was frustrated and should instead focus on improving the condition of the grand old party.

"If they (Congress) are commenting anything on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, it only shows his and the party's frustration," Rudy told ANI

"Anand Sharma and other leaders like him have taken their party to such a bad condition. He should focus on improving the condition of the grand old party," he added.

Expressing his views on the tweet made by Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and senior party leader Giriraj Singh terming Nitish Kumar as 'Jinnah's jin', Rudy said that he has put forward some facts in his own way and nobody should object to it.

"Giriraj ji is our senior leader. He has put some facts in his own way and I don't think that there is anything wrong about that. I don't think that people should put forward their objection over it," he said.

Sharma had criticised Prime Minister Modi for his speech on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, saying the former was not suitable for his post, as he lacked knowledge.

"He does not know how to maintain the decency of his post. If he would have maintained decency, then he would not have insulted those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation," said Sharma.
