The Arunachal Pradesh Assembly today passed by voice vote the vote-on-account for 2014-15.

Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, who also holds the finance portfolio, had yesterday presented the vote-on-account for four months in the Assembly as the annual plan outlay for the state has not been finalised by Planning Commission due to Lok Sabha polls from next month.

The Plan estimates in the vote-on-account are based on the current year (2013-14) revised estimate of Rs 3,443.93 crore, Tuki had said in his speech yesterday.

The estimates of expenditure in the vote-on-account for four months are based on salaries, wages, pension and other unavoidable expenses, he said.

The state Plan outlay in the vote-on-account has been fixed at Rs 294.57 crore, whereas the non-Plan outlay has been fixed at Rs 1,260 crore.

A token provision of Rs 5.93 crore has also been made for the schemes funded by the North East Council.
