Bhuria slams Chouhan for questioning Cong's contribution

State Congress unit president Kantilal Bhuria today said the BJP leader should have known the contributions made by the party (Congress) for the country, instead of raising such a question

Press Trust of India Bhopal
Madhya Pradesh Congress has hit out at state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for questioning what the Congress had done in 50 years.

State Congress unit president Kantilal Bhuria today said the BJP leader should have known the contributions made by the party (Congress) for the country, instead of raising such a question.

"If the Congress has not done anything, then who gave the country Bhakra Nangal dam, Bhilai Steel Plant, BHEL and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre?", Bhuria said in a statement here.

The chief minister of the poll-bound state has several times during his public speeches questioned the contributions made by the Congress towards the country.

It was the Congress which had given the country its first nuclear bomb and missiles ranging from Agni to Nag, Bhuria said.
