Taking a dig at meet being held to brief new Members of Parliament (MP's) from the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Congress leader Manish Tewari today said that he hoped that the MPs are trained to maintain decorum in Parliament.
Tewari told ANI, "The BJP MP's must be trained to maintain constructive behaviour in the Parliament which was not the case during the last two terms."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday instructed BJP MP's attending an orientation camp in Surajkund, Haryana, to follow parliamentary procedures and ethics properly, focus on their work, and spend more time in their respective constituencies.
He also asked them to chart a blueprint for development in their respective constituencies and share it with government.
In addition to that, the Prime Minister also asked all MPs to prepare a road map for their work for next six months.
The two-day orientation camp for BJP MPs' commenced today, at a hotel in Surajkund. Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh addressed the MP's at the start of the programme.
The workshop is being attended by all the senior leaders of the party including Sushma Swaraj, L K Advani, Piyush Goyal and Venkaiah Naidu.
