BJP walked out of House like cowards before trust vote: Nitish

He further alleged BJP leaders could not face the new CM when he was presenting his vision of development of the state

Press Trust of India Patna
Former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar slammed the BJP for staging a walkout of the House just before today's trust vote against JD(U)'s new government and described it as a 'cowardly' act.

"The BJP walked out of House like cowards," Kumar wrote on his Facebook wall.

Kumar further alleged the BJP leaders could not face the new CM Jitan Ram Manjhi when he was presenting his vision of development of the state.

"They have (BJP leaders) have maligned Bihar's image through this act which will be incorporated as black chapter in democracy... They not only boycotted a CM but rejected the inclusive growth taking place in the state in last eight years," he wrote on his Facebook account wall.

Kumar, however, was not present in the House when confidence vote was taken at a Special Session.

He also wrote that with the new JD(U) government winning the trust vote he was sure the pace of development in the state will not slow down.
