On February 27, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi visited Shivamogga in Karnataka. This was his fourth visit to the poll-bound state. The expectation is that the election code of conduct will kick in around March 25/26, local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders say.
