Accusing Mulayam Singh Yadav of indulging in nepotism, Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma has said that his stint with Congress was better than the 30 years spent with the SP supremo.

"Yadav is practicising nepotism and exploiting his own caste (Yadavs)," Verma while addressing a programme here yesterday.

"The last five years spent with Congress were better than 30 years spent with Yadav," the Congress leader, who was earlier a part of Samajwadi Party, said.

He asserted that Congress would win 50 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats during the forthcoming general elections and that party Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would be the next Prime Minister of the country.

"Congress is going to win at least 50 seats (out of total 80 seats) in the state and Rahul Gandhi will become the next PM," Verma said.

The Union Steel Minister was here to attend a programme organised by Steel Authority of India.
