Gujarat CM launches software to improve skill of govt employees

SATHI has been launched for usage in social welfare schemes

Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel on Tuesday launched 'SATHI', a software system aimed to improve capacity and skill of government employees.

An official statement said, SATHI, or System of Application of Technology for Human Resources Improvement, as it is known, has been launched for usage in social welfare schemes of the state government.

Launching SATHI, Patel expressed confidence that the new system will bring a total change in the traditional and routine administrative working-procedures of employees of the state government and the computerized system will enhance the potential of the employees and open-up new sphere of knowledge.

She further said that it is the best e-learning system and will surely save time, energy apart from improving work culture.

 

The state government will be intellectual property holder of 'SATHI'.

The primary objective of this software is to connect routine government administrative and daily works with e-governance.
