The Samajwadi Party has accused the Congress-led UPA Government of being naive and incompetent in averting yet another incursion by China in the Chumar sector in Ladakh.

"We are accusing the Indian Government of its incompetence towards border security and national integrity of the country. And if it continues to be careless then the country will have to pay a huge price for this. Mulayam Singh Yadav has been telling this to the Indian Government for the past ten years that our real threat is China, but there has been no effect on the Indian Government," said Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav.

"The Chinese Government has realized that our Indian Government is a weak government and it can be easily controlled. There have been so many incidents where China has entered our border, but our government will not speak against China," he added.

Yadav further said the Samajwadi Party would take up this issue whenever there is a threat to the nation's security and integrity.

Troops of the PLA entered the Line of Actual Control in Chumar on June 17, destroying the Indian army's observation posts and cameras.

This is the second attempt by China to enter Indian territory since the Daulat Being Oldie incursion in April.
