Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav’s attempt to split with his father and Samajwadi Party (SP) patriarch, Mulayam Singh Yadav, and uncle Shivpal Yadav is being seen in some quarters as a means to conceal the lacklustre performance of his government and let out the impression that the older generation is holding him back.
