Jammu and Kashmir Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu presented the 2018-19 Budget for the state on January 11. Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is estimated to be Rs 1166.37 billion or 6.9 per cent higher than the 2017-18 estimate.
- Total expenditure for 2018-19 is estimated to be Rs 803.13 billion, a 15.2 per cent increase over the revised estimates of 2017-18. In 2017-18, there was Rs 97.44 billion (12.3 per cent) decrease in expenditure in the revised estimates.
