Expelled BJP leader Jaswant Singh Friday met party veteran L.K. Advani, fuelling speculation that he is willing to rejoin the party.

Sources from the Bharatiya Janata Party, while confirming the meeting, said any decision on his rejoining the party would be taken only by prime minister-designate Narendra Modi.

Sources also said Jaswant Singh congratulated Advani for the BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha election.

Jaswant Singh, one of the founding members of the BJP, was expelled after he decided to contest the Lok Sabha election from Barmer against BJP candidate Sonaram Choudhary.

The expelled leader is said to be keen to find a place for his son Manvendra in the party.

Manvendra, an MLA in Rajasthan, was suspended from the primary membership of the party after he campaigned for his father.
