Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar today said the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal was expected which had to happen.
"This had to happen. In the circumstances emerging there, I do not see anything other than what happened was possible," he said.
"Whosoever forms government will try to implement its programmes," he told reporters here.

The Bihar CM emphasised that norms of parliamentary democracy should be followed at all cost.
"When you are accepting parliamentary system we need to accept the process which is part of it. You have to go by constitution," he said.
Kumar highlighted merits of Parliamentary democracy which guarantees equal rights to rich as well the poor.
