LS adjourned till noon after uproar over Telangana

Congress members from the Seemandhra region raised the demand for United AP

Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon today soon after it met for the day amid protests by members from Seemandhra region against decision to create Telangana state.

As soon as the House met, Congress and TDP members from Seemandhra region trooped into the Well raising placards which read - "Save Andhra Pradesh".

"We want united Andhra Pradesh", TDP members shouted as Speaker Meira Kumar was about to take up Question Hour.

Congress members from the Seemandhra region also raised the same demand.

Simultaneously, AIADMK members entered the Well shouting slogans accusing the government of not taking adequate steps to save Tamil Nadu fishermen from alleged attacks by Sri Lankan Navy.
 

As uproar continued, the Speaker adjourned the House till noon.
