The Madras High Court on Tuesday granted interim anticipatory bail to former Telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran, prime accused in the illegal telephone exchange case.
Justice R Subbaiah granted bail for six weeks, subject to the condition that Maran appears before the Central Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday and cooperate with the agency in the investigation to the case.
Earlier, the high court had granted bail to the three officials of Sun TV, who were arrested by CBI in connection with the case.

It has named Maran and BSNL officials in the FIR filed in October 2013 following a preliminary inquiry in which the agency claimed to have found enough material to proceed with a regular case against the former minister.
