External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on Friday said that there have been talks about Dr Manmohan Singh meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on the sidelines of the UN Assembly session but this is a decision that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would take.

"I have said very clearly that there have been talks about meeting of the Prime Ministers. As far as we are concerned, this is a decision that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will take, keeping in mind our expectations being satisfied, accountability on the Mumbai outrage," he told media here today.

"Also, specific expectations that we have about dismantling of terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan. Various things need to be factored in, examined carefully and then a decision will be taken,' he added.

Adding to the series of ceasefire violations by Pakistan over the past couple of months, another incident took place in Poonch district on September 16.

Pakistan's repeated ceasefire violations have proved to be a major setback to a possible resumption of the bilateral and composite dialogue process between the two countries.

Tension has been running high along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch District since August 6 when five Indian soldiers were ambushed and killed by Pakistan's Specialist Forces.
