BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today exhorted partymen in Tamil Nadu to strengthen booth-level committees to enhance the people support base.

"If you want me to translate peoples' support into votes, you should strengthen booth-level committees," Modi said while addressing the state unit office bearers at a meeting here.

Party sources said the Gujarat Chief Minister also suggested that the social media should be used to a maximum extent to drum up support from rural masses as Tamil Nadu ranked third in the use of this technology tool.

Tamil Nadu BJP President Pon Radhakrishnan, National Executive Member, L Ganeshan, Secretary Muralidharan and others were present.
