The BJP's Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi today alleged the Centre is misusing various agencies and institutions. He went on to say that even Raj Bhavans in various States have become Congress offices.

Addressing a public meeting today at Chennai, Modi, said “...see how IT department is misused. Investors came to Gujarat but when UPA came to know IT notices/raids were conducted. CBI has been misused. To win trust votes CBI is misused. They are used to make and break governments”.

He went on to say that Grains meant for poor were given to alcohol makers at 80 paise even when the Supreme Court said give it to the poor. “They disobeyed Supreme Court also. There are so many commissions, which must be for people's interests. But even they have been misused for political gains,” alleged Modi, who was in Tamil Nadu for the third after he was announced as the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate in September.

He added, “our Federal Structure must be respected in letter & spirit. Irrespective of which party it was, Atal ji embraced them all. But now the issues are Party vs Government...Government vs Supreme Court, Defence Minister vs Army this is what is happening. Centre vs State...State vs State on issues relates to water and land...these things are going on due to the UPA. UPA is not bothered to solve them too,” said Modi in an hour long speech.

The thought and work culture of UPA has put India on the verge of disintegration & to save nation we need to bid them goodbye. Armed forces were never divided on sectarian lies but this is what the UPA has done now, said Modi, who added in the last 10 years UPA had ruined even with the Armed forces.

g In the last 60 years never before has there been tension between the Centre and the Armed Forces,” said Modi adding that “Planning Commission ko 0 kar diya aur jhola chap logo ko lekar NAC banaya...PM office ki garima nahi rahi”:

Supreme Court asked why UPA was not going ahead on river linking but they did not act & kept project in cold storage.

Modi also questioned National security stating that, if a nation like ours does not maintain institutional sanctity, sensitivity, integrity then the nation will keep getting into  crisis.

g We need a strong government in Delhi. If India is strong then our neighbours will also be friendly with us. Such a noble nation we are but on all four sides we are being troubled be it China, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. These small nations are pressurising India and no one is hearing us. Who is responsible? The weak government in Delhi,” said Modi.

While most of his speech was related to National issues, he brought two major issues related to Tamil Nadu - one is availability of water and other is security of fishermen.

Fishermen from Tamil Nadu are spending time in jails in Sri Lanka, while fishermen from Gujarat are suffer in Pakistan. “In both the issues Centre is silent and watching it, but not acting on the issue”.

"If the Government had even little concern for the poor then the condition of the fishermen community in Tamil Nadu would be  different,” said Modi.
