A Muslim organisation today demanded a CBI probe into the last month's communal clash in Tonk district of Rajasthan, which claimed one life.
The Sarva Muslim Biradari Mahasabha accused the ruling Congress as anti-minority and said Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot should resign for failing to protect the minority community.
"Tonk clash is the latest in a series of incidents against the minority community in Rajasthan. One man was killed in the clash and police are now targeting members of our community and trying to implicate them in false cases," Mehmood Khan, state president of the Mahasabha, said at a press conference.
