Two NCP legislators in Maharashtra assembly join BJP

Sanjay Savkare, an MoS, represents Bhusaval constituency in Jalgaon while Kisan Kathore is an MLA from Murbad in Thane district

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday received yet another blow after party's minister of state (MoS) for agriculture Sanjay Savkare and legislator Kisan Kathore joined BJP.

Savkare was elected from Bhusaval constituency in Jalgaon district while Kathore was a legislator from Murbad in Thane district.

So far NCP's former ministers Babanrao Pahcpute and Vijaykumar Gavit, former union minister of state Suryakanta Patil and labour leader Vijay Kamble have already crossed over to BJP.
