Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today held a meeting with Singapore Foreign minister K Shanmugam and discussed issues related to building of Nalanda International University and ways to promote tourism.
They discussed issues related to development of Buddhist circuit and tourism in addition to changes taking place in Bihar, an official statement said.
On Singapore minister suggestion that Bihar should have a world class museum to showcase its rich history, Kumar informed him an International museum is being built in Patna, work for which has already started.
Shanmugam told Kumar that Singapore government has all the support for building Nalanda university. He said the university would be of immense political importance for North-East Asia and Buddhist countries.
