Parliament adjourned till 12 noon over Telangana issue

Members also raised the issues of price rise and death of children in relief camps in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh

Both houses of parliament were adjourned Wednesday for an hour within a few minutes after they met for the day's sitting as members again created a din over the issues of Telangana and price rise.

The Lok Sabha was adjourned after members from the Seemandhra regions shouted slogans against proposed division of Andhra Pradesh to create Telangana, drowning out question hour.

Members also raised the issues of price rise and death of children in relief camps in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.

Speaker Meira Kumar then adjourned the house till 12 noon.

Similar scenes were witnessed in the Rajya Sabha following which Chairman M. Hamid Ansari adjourned the house till 12 noon.
