Prakash Javadekar is an official spokesperson for the BJP and Rajya Sabha MP from Maharashtra since 2008.

He was the BJP’s pointsman for Andhra for striking an alliance with Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu. Father Keshav Krishna Javadekar was a senior of the Hindu Mahasabha and its Pune head, being a follower of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar.
