Prime Minister to be back in Bihar this week

Narendra Modi

Business Standard
All eyes will be on Muzaffarpur on July 25 to see how Bihar welcomes Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is to address his first public meeting in the state in the run-up to the assembly elections.

At his earlier public meeting, crude bombs went off in Patna. Since then Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has taken one dig after another at Modi. Will Modi return the compliment ? Who will be his target - Kumar or arch enemy Lalu Prasad? Will he even indirectly, nominate or endorse anybody as the NDA's chief ministerial candidate? Will Upendra Kushwaha, who is projecting himself as chief minister, make his intentions clear?

The state BJP is sparing no effort to make the rally a success - both in manpower and monetary terms. It could be a defining moment in the Bihar campaign.
