Rahul Gandhi arrives in Nagpur, to meet party leaders

He is holding one-to-one dialogue with Congress leaders from Vidarbha

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today arrived in the city on a two-day tour of Maharashtra.

The Congress leader arrived here at around 9.30am and headed straightaway to Surabardi to meet district-level party leaders from the Vidarbha region.

"Rahul Gandhi is holding one-to-one dialogue with Congress leaders from Vidarbha," a party source said.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavhan and Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Manikrao Thakre were present at the venue, though they were not taking part in the talks, he said.

Gandhi will also hold similar meetings with district and block Congress committee office-bearers in Pune tomorrow, he said.
