Rahul Gandhi defamation case: Venkaiah Naidu likens Congress leaders to 'gramophone record player'

Naidu added that linking RSS to Mahatma Gandhi's assassination would not help Congress in the UP elections

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Union minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Friday said that Congress leaders are talking like an old gramophone record player.

He was responding to Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi's comment on linking the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to Mahatma Gandhi's murder.

"RSS does not need a certificate from anybody," said Naidu.

"The criticism of Congress is like a stuck gramophone record player," he added.

"They tried and failed allegations," said the minister, adding that this would not add any value for Congress in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
