Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will interact with Mahila Congress delegates from across the country in Madhya Pradesh capital Bhopal on Monday.
According to reports, Gandhi is expected to discuss ways to ensure greater empowerment of women, which would then be assimilated into the party's election manifesto for the 2014 general elections.
Security has been tightened for the high-profile visit.
Gandhi will arrive at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj International Airport from where he will head towards Minto Hall, where a programme called "Mahila Samvad" will take place.
Mahila Samvad is being organised by All India Mahila Congress President Shobha Ojha.
Over 250 women delegates from around the country have been invited to present their views on women empowerment before Rahul Gandhi.
The Mahila Congress is also expected to push for the early passage of the Women's Reservation Bill that provides for 33% reservation to women in Parliament and state Assemblies.
