SP MP from Banda joins BSP, to contest LS polls

He said he joined BSP as he had faith in the ideology of the party

Sitting Samajwadi Party MP from Banda constituency RK Singh Patel today joined BSP, which has declared him the party's candidate from the seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Patel joined BSP in a rally held here in presence of BSP national general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui, who announced his candidature from the Banda seat.

Patel had been denied a ticket for the Lok Sabha polls by SP, which has fielded Shyama Charan Gupta from the seat.

Patel said he joined BSP as he had faith in the ideology of the party.
