Telangana House Committee to probe irregularities committed by housing societies

To look into the aspects of protecting wakf properties across the state

Telangana Legislative Assembly will constitute two House committees to probe the irregularities committed by various housing societies and to look into the aspects of protecting wakf properties across the state.

Chief minister , K Chandrasekhar Rao, who suggested constitution of the two committees, said that his government would implement the recommendations made by them.

The issue figured in the House on Thursday through a call attention motion moved by the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen (MIM) leader, Akbaruddin Owaisi, and four others regarding irregularities committed by the Jubilee Hills and Film Nagar housing societies and involvement of wakf lands therein.
