Ahead of the BJP PM candidate Narendra Modi's rally today, Jammu has been converted into a high security barbed wired city.
Modi is scheduled to address the rally at the MAM Stadium here at around 1 PM.
A multi-tier security cover has been set up in and around the venue, to ensure peaceful rally, a senior police officer said.
IAF choppers also encircled over the venue for an hour.
In the city, hundreds of barbed wire blockades have been created to regulate the people thronging the rally.
"The state government and police authorities are restricting people from reaching venue", BJP State General Secretary Bali Bhagat alleged here.
It take hours to reach the venue due to the restrictions. Some people held protests in Satwari and Jewel areas.
